Gloria Chadwick joined Sycuan Health Center in 2023 as one of the Health Oversight Committee (HOC) Member. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Gloria has had an extensive career in healthcare, having retired from the La Jolla VA Acute Psychiatric Nursing Department. Her background includes roles as a nurse’s aide, school health aide, hospital nurse, office nurse, and school nurse for the Jamul/Dulzura District. She has also served as an elected member of the Grossmont Healthcare District since 1998, where she currently serves as Treasurer and has previously held the position of President for eight terms. Gloria finds fulfillment in her work at GHD through her passion for community service.
Outside of her professional life, Gloria enjoys painting wildlife and landscapes, while her husband, Steve, has a passion for hot rods. Their daughter, Dianne, works as a graphic designer for movies in Los Angeles, and their son, Scott, is the President and CEO of the San Diego Port Authority. Gloria and Steve have lived in the area since 1974. Both of their children are Valhalla High School graduates.
