Misty Taylor joined Sycuan Health Center in 2018 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Behavioral Health Department. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Misty has been a licensed therapist for 9 years.
Before joining Sycuan, Misty worked in Indian Child Welfare for the County of San Diego and her own tribe. She has also served as an ICWA Social Worker and Supervisor of the Substance Abuse Center at Southern Indian Health Clinic, and as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Therapist at Indian Health Clinic.
Misty values the dedication and care given to both patients and staff at Sycuan Health Center, appreciating the supportive and understanding environment fostered by her colleagues. She enjoys the strong sense of community and teamwork that makes Sycuan feel like a family. Misty is a tribal member of The Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel.
