Winnie has been a Registered Nurse since 1980, eventually earning her Doctorate of Nursing Science in 2006. Winnie’s extensive professional background includes work as a staff nurse in a hospital setting, research for Digestive Disease Center, pioneer for palliative care program, Director of Professional Development, Director for hospice and home health care and an outpatient career.
Winnie started working at Sycuan Medical Dental Center in 2021, where she was able to synthesize her experience as Nurse Leader to help improve Sycuan’s vision of providing exceptional rural-focused primary healthcare.
When she isn’t working, Winnie enjoys home life surrounded by family, friends and ranch critters. Her favorite activity is camping in the mountains with her horses.
