Dr. Abida Faiz joined the Sycuan Health Oversight Committee (HOC) in 2025. She is a licensed osteopathic physician who brings years of clinical experience and a strong commitment to quality care. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Houston.
Her professional background includes serving as a Primary Care Physician at SharpCare Medical Group, a Locum Physician with Family Health Centers of San Diego, and a Primary Care Physician at Kaiser Permanente. Since 2018, Dr. Faiz has worked across a variety of healthcare environments, developing a broad perspective on patient care and health system operations.
