Sage Salacup is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, who joined the Sycuan Health Center team in 2026. A San Diego local, Sage completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in American Indian Studies at San Diego State University before earning her Physician Assistant degree from Western University of Health Sciences.
She began her career in dermatology and mobile wound care, where she gained invaluable experience providing high-level clinical treatment to underserved and geriatric populations. Today, Sage focuses on adult primary care, with a particular passion for women’s health.
She is especially grateful to be a part of the team at Sycuan Health Center, as she is a descendant of the Pueblo of Taos. She is deeply committed to serving the Native community. Outside of the clinic, she stays active at the gym, enjoys quality time with her family, and loves walking her dog.
